Part crib, part rocking chair the Ashton Rocker could be a new mommy's saving grace. This contraption eliminates the dreaded arm-to-crib transition. You know that time. Baby has just drifted off to dreamland, your arms are practically numb from the weight and awkward position of cradling, and you think it's safe to gently place baby in the crib. Even in sleep, babies can sense the change in position and elevation.

That change usually ends up in a waking (and grumpy) baby, not to mention another half hour or more of lulling baby back to sleep. With the Ashton Rocker, the transition from your cradling arms to crib is no longer necessary. Baby can be placed in the soft crib area, while mom, dad, big sister or brother, nanny or babysitter, sits in the chair area and rocks baby to sleep. This rocker acts as an accent piece for the nursery, a conversational piece for mommies groups, and guarantees putting baby down for a nap easy as pie. The rocker, constructed of wood, is a ladder-back chair and cradle combination. The seats and cradle area are cushioned with foam and upholstered in soft fabric.
